PLN 9

In the article HARD AT WORK by the Nata village blog, it talks about how children have to start working at a young age so they will be working the rest of their life and they will be good at it. This matters to me because children in America can take their lives for granted. Some kids complain when they have to do chores, but in Botswana kids have to do things such as collecting water from the stand pipe to mix with sand and making mud bricks for their adobe homes.

Good job speaking and presenting. Good point on how kids in America take life for granted. I agree that we have a pretty easy life. I could help them by giving them food and everday items.

Finlay,
You did good with your presentation part but I think your pln needs to be longer and it more detail. Your cards were in detail more than your pln. I like how your connection compared to kids, its better to make a connection for ourselves. In response to your question, Giving food and helping with making and putting together things to send to kids in need.

Finlay- You brought up a good point saying that we are very lucky just to have homes, and that we forget about those people and things. You brought a good discussion! GOOD JOB!

Finlay- Good job, I think you could have spoke up a little bit more, but I definitely think that we should do like mission trips for those kids, and/or send them money. Great presentation.

Good job. That article was really sad. You had really good eye contact. That question really made me think about all the things that we can do. I think that we can do a lot for them and i hope all of us could.

Good job!
but you need to make more eye contact instead of looking at your cards so much.
good job on connecting your pln with the world.
I think that if we all did even a little part it would make a big difference.

American kids should be thankful that we have it a whole lot better than other country's. Your description of how we have to work at fifteen and how other country's kids work at early ages in their life.

Finlay, you did a great job. I really felt like you cared about this topic. And good-job again and we should totally help the kids by giving them stuff and helping them do there chores.

Finlay,
You did a good job, you made great eye contact. I would do anything I could to help them because they don't have all the same priveleges that we do.

Finlay, good job. Your pln was great. I always have felt sorry for the people over in Africa, who have nothing. I try to do as much as i can in order to help the people in Africa, sadly one can only do so much. Good job.

Whats going on in Africa is very sad and not a good situation. But when people like you go up and educate and teach us whats going on there thats when a sulotion happens. If everyone had a good heart like you Africa wouldnt be in the problem they are in.

Finlay,
Good job and I think you chose a very good subject to do this pln presentation on. To answer your question I think that we should help kids and people in Nata village because they don't have all the expensive things we have in the u.s.

WoW the topic you wrote about was great and i agree with what you say. I also think that many kids in America have every thing is handed to them and then others like you spoke about have nothing their whole lives. You also gave a great speach and presented your project very well.

Finlay,
I really liked your choice of discussion. You are right in saying that we need t do more to help the ones that have to work at such a young age. I agree with you in your opinion. Your question really brought out good thoughtful answers, and was very thought out! The only suggestion that I have for you is to expand on your topic to make your question expand even more. Keep up the good work.

You had good eye contact with every one. Your presentation was well presented and was interesting to listen to. The answer that I would give you to your question is, I could look for an organization that helps people. A connection that I have with this topic is, my mom works for an organization that helps the people in India that are considered the lowest class of India. You did an awesome job!
